The End of a Fierce Dispute over the Route to Buenos Aires

And like any novel … this dispute came to an end, since the Peruvian aeronautical authority decided that the following frequencies between Lima and Buenos Aires remain:

LATAM Airlines: 6 flights a week.
SKY Airline: 4 flights a week.
Viva Air: 4 flights a week.

The 3 airlines were given a single condition, that if they do not start operations in 6 months, the assigned frequencies will be removed without the right to financial compensation.

Step to follow
After so many comings and goings, many will now wonder, what is the next step? The General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Peru (DGAC) designates and communicates this resolution through the relevant diplomatic channels to the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) of Argentina.

Subsequently, the ANAC begins the authorization process, the process of which includes a verification analysis so that the airlines comply with all the regulatory requirements applicable to the case.

It is worth mentioning that from Argentina to Peru, Aerolineas Argentinas and JetSMART are authorized to fly.
