The International Airport, Falkland Islands of Ushuaia. It is known as the airport at the end of the world. This airport, named after Malvinas Argentinas, after a provincial resolution to keep alive the claim on the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands.
The air terminal is located in the province of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, its IATA code : USH and ICAO: SAHW. Among its relevant data, the airport has an asphalt runway with runway assignment 07/25.
The Airlines that connect with this peninsula are· LADE (State Airlines)· Jetsmart, Argentine airlines and in the cruise season receives charter flights from Lufthansa, TUI.
It is worth remembering that the Concorde of Air France has visited this airport along with the 747 of Aerolíneas Argentinas; which, have made a stopover on their famous trans-oceanic flights to Australia.
Many admire the landing for its incredible scenery.
