Air traffic controllers are forced to carry out a 72-hour stoppage or strike, because their demands before CORPAC (Peruvian Corporation of Airports and Civil Aviation) were not heard in the last session of November 20, 2020. Therefore, the strike is scheduled to take place from 7:00 am on December 22 until 7:00 am on December 25, 2020. The following are the unfulfilled points that led to the decision of go to unemployment:
- Round trip mobility for operational workers to their homes.
- Weekly preventive PCR test.
- Adequate conditions for rest during the work shift.
- Provide rest rooms equipped for the control tower personnel nationwide.
