JetSMART Plane Carries Out Humanitarian Repatriation Flight
An Airbus A320 plane from the low-cost airline, JetSMART, was commissioned to carry out a humanitarian repatriation flight between Peru and Argentina.
A total of 363 people returned to their homes after a 4 and a half hour flight each way (180 Peruvians and 183 Argentines) on the Buenos Aires – Lima – Buenos Aires route.
A TorreElDorado camera was at the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima to record the arrival of Peruvian citizens to their country and in the same way we were in the Check-In area saying goodbye to the Argentines.
As additional data, the return flight Lima – Buenos Aires had to be diverted to the Argentine city of Rosario due to adverse conditions at the Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Ezeiza, later when the weather conditions improved, the JetSMART flight landed safely.
The JetSMART Airbus A320 used by the airline for this humanitarian repatriation flight operates with the LV-IVN registration, has an age of only one year and 6 months and has the capacity to transport 186 passengers.
